- Toys and child care articles
Added 2026-10-31 for 16 CFR Part 1307 (phthalates). Children's toys and child care articles as that part defines them. Other laws for these products are not covered by ClaraDB; baby feeding items that are tableware (plates, bowls, cups, utensils) keep their children's tableware leaves.
- Children's toys
Toys: consumer products designed or intended by the manufacturer for a child 12 years of age or younger for use by the child when the child plays (dolls, plush, blocks, play figures, rattles, bath toys, play sets, puzzles and games for children). Not adult collectibles, models or games sold for adults.
- Child care articles
Child care articles: consumer products designed or intended by the manufacturer to facilitate sleep or the feeding of children age 3 and younger, or to help such children with sucking or teething. Baby bottles and bottle teats, pacifiers and soothers, teethers and teething toys, and sleep items such as cribs, bassinets, crib mattresses, sleep sacks and swaddles. Baby plates, bowls, cups and utensils stay in the children's tableware leaves.
- Children's feeding gift set
Added 2026-10-31 (stranger 23) for a gift set, box or bundle of baby and children's items of more than one kind: a teether with a cup or a plate, a feeding set with a teether. A composite category with no products of its own: it carries the rules of every member (child care articles, children's dinnerware, children's cups and bottles), so the set is checked against what each item in it is checked against (phthalates in 16 CFR Part 1307, food-contact laws, the children's tableware certificate and lead limits). A set of one kind of product is filed under that kind's leaf.
